MANUFACTURING / PROJECT ENGINEER
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in CNC machining in a mass production environment (ie. Not from a mold shop)
Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and capable of accurate use and interpretation
Experience in machining fixture design and build.
Experience in developing the manufacturing process for estimating and process improvement.
Working knowledge of machining tool selection
Working knowledge of AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) requirements: PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA
Ability to effectively interact with customer personnel
Demonstrated leadership abilities in a technical environment.
Ability to estimate cycle times and processing costs
Ability to analyze and recommend capital acquisition for machining equipment
Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral English
Preference will be given to candidates that can speak read and write Mandarin also
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (primarily to China).
Required experience 2-8 years.
The salary is very negotiable ($50,000-$90,000) based on experience and contribution.
This is a rather urgent request as our client has just been awarded a large contract from a new customer and they need to have these skills and abilities in their Windsor office.
